Monks Green is a DCC OO gauge train layout originally set a 50s/60s British Railways layout. Some noticeable features on the layout include: a vehicle meet up; coal yard; 4 platform passenger station; a parade of shops, and an engine shed.

A few years of being run as a DC layout, a number of members converted it into a DCC layout. The pictures below are from the May 2014 club show where it was first exhibited.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the club couldn't meet for a couple of years. Due to this, it has meant that the layout hasn't had the maintenance it deserves and is once again another project for our members to work on. We hope to exhibit it once again in the future once this further work is completed.
On 24th February 2023, the layout has once again attended a club night, with a view to exhibit it at an exhibition in the next couple of years. Over the following serval club nights, more testing and renovation must occur to ensure that it is exhibition ready. Pictures can be shown below of the layout on this night.
