Our club is situated in the Sompting Village Hall (www.somptingvillagehall.org) and is home to around 30 model railway enthusiasts hosting a whole range of skills between us. We are a friendly and welcoming club. A typical Friday events include:
- OO Gauge running layout. 3 circular tracks for running. Bring some of your stock to run.
- N Gauge running layout. 2 circular tracks for running. Currently being revamped.
- O Gauge running layout. 2 End to end running tracks. Under construction.
- Various club layouts being worked on.
- Learn new skills in modelling from highly skilled members.
- Have a go yourself.
- Get advice on your home layout.
- Enjoy a tea or coffee and a good chat.
- Enjoy a good read of our exclusive member's newsletters.
Members model in include British, German, Austrian, Swiss, Italian, French and American railways in models of all gauges mentioned above. Members are invited regularly to exhibit their own layouts at Model Railway Exhibitions throughout the south and sometimes further afield.
